A viral video of a prank interview with America’s “most racist man” has raised questions after a Welsh flag appeared in the background.
Niko Omilana, a popular YouTube star, conducted a practical joke encounter with Thomas Robb – the National Director of The Knights Party or more commonly known as the Ku Klux Klan. The video which has amassed more than 11 million views showcases Niko “trolling” the leader aiming to ridicule the organisation’s views.
The interview was conducted in a church in Zinc, Arkansas, after the Youtuber initially travelled to the state after learning it had a reputation for racism, which he later accredited to the organisation that found residence there. Posing as the BBC, the Youtuber tricked his way into an interview with the Director to discuss a “positive story” and “how the KKK isn’t racist” which he later denies for the audience.
During the interview, a row of flags is pictured in the background including what appears to be the Welsh flag. Throughout the video, Niko plays practical jokes on Director, Thomas Robb, even tricking the 76-year-old into saying an acronym for Black Lives Matter.
Widespread praise for the video, titled “I Pranked America’s Most Racist Man”, has circulated on social media, praising the Youtuber for his bravery. Niko goes on to question Thomas Robb about his involvement with the organisation and its history. Check out the hilarious prank below.
