Brandi Maxielle and her husband, former NBA player Jason Maxiell, are seeking professional counselling to help their fractured marriage. In the past, the former Basketball Wives star has spoken openly about her husband cheating on her. In fact, late last year, Brandi took to social media hinting that he had been unfaithful.
She also posted other messages sharing her displeasure with his behavior.
In a interview with HipHollywood back in 2015, Maxiell opened up about her husband’s infidelities and how her life has changed since then. The reality star said:
“The one thing that I hate is the stereotype that basketball players have. Everybody has this judgment on basketball players … It shouldn’t be just because he plays sports he can cheat on me.”
Maxiell added:
“When you get married you are supposed to be faithful and it’s for better or for worse. I’ve always said for better for worse, for richer and for poorer. I’m doing my best to stay with it and work on things. It’s a struggle, it’s a process, but we are getting there.”
