Cardi B opened up about her Met Gala conversation with Nicki Minaj and revealed that the rappers are on good terms after ongoing rumors of bad blood. Cardi told Howard Stern on Wednesday:
“I never was feuding with anybody; there was a misunderstanding. I think Nicki felt a certain type of way about something. I definitely felt a certain type of way about something. I didn’t wanna ever talk about it in public because I felt like we gonna see each other again and we will talk about it and it’s always, like, little issues. The thing is, it’s always little issues. But you know, fans are always gonna make it a big thing.”
Also, Cardi discussed the following topics; marriage, her baby girl on the way and more. On The Sex of the Baby, Cardi said:
“I’m having a girl”
When asked about whether or not the engaged couple will be signing a prenup, Cardi says that she’s going to keep her money separate, but that the two have eyes on each other. She said:
“Me and my dude, we be clocking each other,”
Howard didn’t understand and she elaborated saying that two both point out the other’s big purchases or extravagant spending.
“We really clock each other. It’s more than a relationship. We are planning on building a really big future.”
Of the 2018 Met Gala debut, Cardi, who was outfitted in a pearl-encrusted Moschino look by Jeremy Scott, told Howard she usually doesn’t go up to other celebs at events like that because she’s “shy,” but there was one star she couldn’t help but chat up at the glittering gala Rihanna. Cardi said:
“I don’t like going up to people because I’m very shy. But I went up to Rihanna and told her I love her because I really like her and I really feel like she’s very genuine. …I really like her. I really feel in my heart that she want me to win.”
In related news, Cardi B’s fiancé Offset, checked out of their Lower East Side hotel room after the lavish event without his diamond tennis chain and now the bling he values at $150,000 is nowhere to be found, according police sources. The rap royalty couple headed back to their penthouse at Hotel Sixty LES on Allen Street in the hours after the Monday night gala leaving the door to their room wide open behind them, sources said. One police source said:
“They had left the door open so people could come in and out of the room,”“The door was left open even when they weren’t in the room.”
It wasn’t until Offset arrived in Atlanta a few hours later that he realized the pricey piece was missing.
