You might want to grab a tissue. Drake just released a heartwarming video for “God’s Plan,” where he gives away nearly $1 million all over Miami.
For the visual, directed by Karena Evans, Drake spent the entire $996,631.90 budget for the video on charity. A message at the beginning of the video, released on Friday, reads:
“The budget for this video was $996,631.90,” “We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label…”
The video then shows Drake going into a grocery store and announcing to the customers that “anything” they want in the store “is free.” He then greets people in the store as they cheer and shop. Drake then brings a mother and son to tears as he surprises them with money. Drake says at one point towards the end of the clip:
“We’re nothing without our mothers. Gotta make sure you take care of your mom, too, no matter what you do. It’s all we got. Trust me. That’s my world,”
